Meet Voyageur, a unique, genuine six-string guitar whose very construction reflects the story of Canada. Presented by its originator, Jowi Taylor, Voyageur’s 64 pieces as well as the additional elements in its case and strap come from notable Canadian sites or individuals….from Maple Leaf Gardens, Bluenose II, a moose shin, hockey sticks from Gretzky and Henderson, Maid of the Mist, Stratford Festival’s original tent, a Karen Kain ballet costume, Pier 21, Rocket Richard’s Stanley Cup ring, the Parliament Buildings, and more.

Join Jowi to hear Voyageur’s (and Canada’s) story, concluding with local guitarist, David Usselman, playing the instrument. Bring your camera to take your own photo with this exceptional expression of our nation.

Tickets $20 (includes admission to Trailblazers exhibition)
