Ballroom, Dark Horse Winery, 70665 B Line, Grand Bend, Ontario

Tickets:  $50

In his best-selling autobiography, Permanent Astonishment, Tomson Highway, whom Maclean’s magazine dubbed one of the most important 100 people of Canadian history, describes himself this way: “…I am just bizarre, unusual, ridiculous, multilingual, optimist, unstoppable, laughter-loving, piano-playing – and utterly unique – Tomson Highway.”

Huron Waves agrees with both descriptions, so join us to meet Tomson Highway as composer, pianist, humorist and irreverent Canadian when his music and musings take centrestage.  An Evening with Tomson Highway is hosted by Graham Greene and favoured with paintings by First Nation artist, Jeffrey ‘Red’ George, to celebrate Canada’s Indigenous Peoples Day.

Bar open for wine service before the concert and at intermission. Open seating except for reserved seats for patrons of the pre-concert dinner (details below).

An Evening with Tomson Highway is generously supported by Anne Walsh.
