Indigenous Land Acknowledgement

Ontario’s West Coast, where our concerts and activities are based, is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe Peoples. Huron Waves Music Festival honours their continued stewardship of this land, its resources and the waters of the Great Lakes over centuries past and into today. We will strive to do our part to move forward in a spirit of reconciliation, gratitude and respect as we live side-by-side with the Anishinaabe who are our neighbours, just as we will recognise and appreciate all First Nations, Métis and Inuit.

About

Huron Waves is a registered charitable not-for-profit organization established to create a music festival featuring local, provincial, national and international musical talent. Huron Waves endeavours to:

  • promote arts and culture in rural Ontario
  • provide opportunities for youth and adults to participate in the planning, presentation and evolution of a music Festival, and
  • foster arts and culture education and presentation.

To mount a successful professional music festival that is accessible to its constituents, support is needed from individual donors, businesses, community groups, foundations, corporations and governments. Financial support through sponsorships and donations are essential to the Festival’s success.

Huron Waves is a registered charity: 81910 0850 RR0001.
